Despite massive opposition, Bonner County has approved a conditional use permit to build a 170-acre commercial downhill mountain bike park in the middle of rural residential areas on E. Dufort Road in Sagle. This downhill mountain bike park will bring:

• Hundreds of cars each week on a 10 mph dirt road  from E. Dufort Road through the residential neighborhood of Five Lake Estates 

• shuttle trucks taking bikers to the top of the mountain all day long

• a helicopter landing pad at the top of the mountain 

• overnight camping sites 

• large weekend festivals and events

Do you want this in your neighborhood? Because make no mistake - we either stop this now or IT MAY BE YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD NEXT.
